To prepare the cazuela, start by cooking the meat in a large pot.
Sauté the tomato, onion, and chiles in oil with garlic and ground mustard.
Add the beef broth and incorporate the chopped vegetables.
Cook on low heat for twenty minutes, then add rice and fried chickpeas at the end.
Season with salt, pepper, and garnish with fresh cilantro.
Cazuela
Ingredients
½ kilogram of Beef pulp
1 cup of Cooked chickpeas
⅓ cup of Rice
3 Medium zucchinis
3 Medium potatoes
3 Slices of onion
3 Medium carrots
2 Mustard seeds
1 Green California chile
1 Clove of garlic
1 Medium tomato
Oil
Cilantro
1 pinch of Pepper
1 pinch of Salt
Preparation
Step 1 : To prepare the cazuela, place the meat in pieces in a pot to cook.
Step 2 : Chop the tomato, onion, and green chiles, and fry them in oil with a clove of garlic and ground mustard.
Step 3 : Then add the beef broth.
Step 4 : Cut the potatoes, zucchinis, and carrots into cubes and incorporate them into the stew.
Step 5 : Let it simmer on low heat for about twenty minutes.
Step 6 : Next, fry some rice and add it at the end, together with the chickpeas.
Step 7 : Season with salt and pepper, and add some sprigs of cilantro.
